The episode begins with Abhira searching for the ring, worriedly wondering where it went since no one entered the outhouse. Ruhi, however, sees the ring.
A flashback shows that Ruhi saw Abhira fighting with the thieves earlier and waited until Abhira fell asleep. Ruhi then sneaked in, stole the ring, and left.
She now holds the ring and smiles, thinking to herself that since Abhira took her love, she took her ring in return. Ruhi is upset, remembering how Armaan left her for Abhira.
She believes that everyone will now see that Abhira isn’t capable of managing even a simple thing like a ring. Abhira is left crying, worrying about what will happen next as Armaan prepares for the engagement.
Meanwhile, Armaan is shocked when Dadi refuses to give the family bangles to Abhira because she didn’t agree to change her name.
Armaan tries to defend Abhira, saying that it’s unfair and that he wants to marry her with all the traditional rituals. He praises Abhira’s responsibility, but Dadi disagrees and insists the engagement proceed without that ritual.
Vidya, however, steps in and decides to give her bangles to Abhira instead. Abhira, feeling overwhelmed, cries and leaves, wondering what she should do next.
Armaan notices her distress and tries to comfort her, asking if something went wrong with her dress or parlor appointment. Just as she’s about to tell him, Vidya interrupts and sends Abhira to get ready quickly.
Vidya also asks about Armaan’s ring, but Abhira doesn’t respond, leaving Armaan puzzled.
Ruhi, meanwhile, is determined to hold onto the ring and keep it hidden. When Vidya and Manisha enter the kitchen, Ruhi quickly hides the ring in a cooker.
The women get into a small argument about cooking, causing the cooker to fall. Ruhi apologizes and insists on cleaning up, secretly retrieving the ring. She is adamant that she won’t lose it.
Armaan, still unaware of the missing ring, gets pulled into a conversation with Krish, who suggests that he should do something special for Abhira during the engagement. Armaan agrees, but Abhira is deeply worried about how Armaan will react when he finds out the ring is missing. She feels undeserving of him and is visibly stressed.
Vidya later brings Abhira her engagement dress and jewelry, asking about the ring. Abhira, trying to buy time, says she needs to do a puja in front of her mother’s picture first.
Vidya, unaware of the truth, agrees and leaves. Abhira, however, knows she can’t keep lying.
Precap: Abhira confesses to Armaan that she lost the ring. Armaan, surprisingly, suggests they have two engagements. Ruhi, planning to tell Dadi, thinks she holds the real ring, while Armaan keeps a fake one.
