Rishi’s Struggles with Lakshmi and Malishka’s Schemes
The episode starts with Rishi telling Ayush that he is trying to move on and forget Lakshmi’s mistakes. Ayush defends Lakshmi, saying she has never done anything wrong. Rishi argues that she was alive and didn’t tell him, didn’t share about her pregnancy, and didn’t return.
He feels hurt because he asked her to leave, and she did, but he never really wanted her to go. Rishi admits that what matters most to him is Lakshmi and his feelings for her.
Ayush reminds Rishi of all he has done for Lakshmi, saying that even though he wasn’t the best husband at first, once he fell in love, he stood by her and never betrayed her. Rishi recalls leaving his house and even his mother for Lakshmi because he loves her deeply.
Ayush understands Rishi’s feelings and says that Lakshmi loves him too, but she is hurt by the past. Rishi wishes to forget the past and live his life with her, but he feels Lakshmi is stuck in the past. He confesses that Lakshmi is all that matters to him, and he needs her.
Ayush hugs him, saying he understands, but notes that Rishi hasn’t expressed these feelings to Lakshmi directly.
Rishi says he would give his life for Lakshmi, but she doesn’t want to see him, so he will stay away to avoid troubling her. He decides to give her what she wants, even if it means keeping his distance. Anushka overhears their conversation.
Meanwhile, Rohan and Paro thank Malishka for the new beds she brought them and jump on them with joy. Anushka arrives and insists on talking to Malishka, but Malishka is focused on the kids, who happily kiss her before she leaves.
Ayush goes to Avinash, looking for some peace. Avinash hugs him and tells him that while things are difficult now, they will improve with time. Shalu tries to reassure Ayush, saying that uniting Rishi and Lakshmi will take time but isn’t impossible. Avinash advises that Rishi and Lakshmi need time to understand their feelings so they can make the right decision.
Anushka later tells Malishka that Rishi is upset because Lakshmi said she doesn’t want to see him, and he has decided to stay away from her. Malishka is pleased to hear this and believes that Lakshmi wants all of Rishi or nothing.
She thanks Anushka for the information, feeling hopeful about her own chances with Rishi. Both Rishi and Lakshmi are thinking about each other, with the song “Main Teri Hogayi” playing in the background.
Rishi resolves not to hurt Lakshmi and to respect her feelings, deciding not to force her to attend the hotel inauguration.
Meanwhile, Lakshmi worries about how she will refuse if Rishi asks her to come. Both feel that the other has left them with no choice, but Rishi’s heart tells him that Lakshmi didn’t truly mean what she said, and he believes his heart is never wrong.
The next day, Neelam wishes Paro and Rohan a happy Independence Day. Malishka arrives and gives chocolates to the kids, who share them with Dadi.
Dadi prays for their happy family, and the kids hug everyone. Rishi shows up and says it’s time to go. Paro asks where her mother is and calls out for Lakshmi. Lakshmi enters, holding the flag and something on a covered plate.
