Nitya’s Plan to Hurt Meera, and Arjun’s Close Save
The episode begins with Jagdish asking Nitya to give their ancestral bracelet (kada) to Meera after the puja. Nitya is shocked and secretly plans to make Meera fall down the stairs.
She spills oil on the stairs, causing Meera to slip. Arjun and Jagdish watch in shock, while Nitya smiles at her plan.
Flashback to Earlier Events:
Earlier, Kashvi couldn’t sleep and decided to go for a walk in the hall. She sees a shadow and gets scared, shouting out. Pradyuman and the servants come running. Kashvi hugs Pradyuman, explaining that she saw a shadow trying to scare her.
Pradyuman calms her down, saying it might have been something else, and asks the servants to check the area. They find nothing, and Pradyuman tells Kashvi to keep the middle door open if she feels scared. Swati, watching from a distance, smiles secretly.
The Next Day:
The next morning, Swati greets Kashvi and offers her breakfast. Kashvi asks for just coffee. Swati brings up the shadow from last night, and Kashvi asks why Swati didn’t mention it then.
Swati explains that Pradyuman doesn’t like such talk and suggests that Neelam, Pradyuman’s first wife who died after their divorce, might be haunting the house because he remarried. Kashvi dismisses the idea of ghosts, but Swati insists she just wanted to warn her.
Swati leaves, smiling to herself.
Later, Meera drops Karun off at school. Karun’s friends congratulate him for securing second rank in class. Karun introduces Meera as his “new Mamma,” making Meera emotional. She hugs him, touched by his acceptance.
At the office, Kashvi and Arjun both reach for the same cup of coffee but refuse to take it since there’s only one cup left. The peon divides the coffee, giving each half a cup. Arjun asks Kashvi about her married life, but she deflects, telling him to focus on his own marriage.
Meera arrives, happily telling Arjun that Karun introduced her as his new mother to his friends. Kashvi feels sad, thinking that Arjun has moved on and Karun has forgotten her. Arjun praises Meera for handling Karun so well. Meera then feels the baby kick and shares the moment with Arjun, who is amazed. Kashvi, watching them, feels left out but reassures the baby that she is both mother and father to them.
Pradyuman then informs Kashvi that their land deal is done, which she agrees is good news. He asks if Swati has caused any trouble, but Kashvi says no, mentioning that Swati seemed close to Neelam.
Pradyuman, not wanting to discuss his past, tells Kashvi to leave it behind. Kashvi senses that Pradyuman’s past might be painful. Arjun overhears this conversation and becomes suspicious.
Jagdish talks to Karun about how doing good things makes God happy, while doing bad things brings punishment. Nitya hears this and thinks Meera deserves punishment for her bad behavior. She spills oil on the stairs, planning for Meera to slip and get hurt.
Back to the Present:
Arjun offers to help Meera with her saree for the puja. He pins her saree pleats and compliments her, saying she looks beautiful. Meera thanks him and asks him to get ready quickly for the puja.
She checks the list, makes sure everything is ready, and calls the Pandit ji to come soon. As she steps on the staircase, she slips, but Arjun catches her just in time, protecting her and the baby. Nitya, watching, realizes Meera is pregnant and suspects that this is why Arjun married her.
Precap:
Arjun tells Meera that he will give his name as the father of her baby. Later, someone steals the sonography report from Kashvi’s room. Nitya tries to get Meera to eat papaya, hoping it will make Arjun and Meera confess about the pregnancy.
Kashvi then tells Pradyuman that her sonography report is missing, and they search Swati’s room. Swati denies taking it, asking why she would steal it.
